Arthur found his forever home. Arthur came into care about 12 months ago with some basic general training and has since completed his riding training with Flinders Greentree. Arthur is trained to be ridden in saddle and bitless.

Arthur is rising 8 years and stands approx. 15hh. He is 7/8 Gypsy Cob and is one of the sweetest guys at HHH HQ. He has a cheeky but kind personality and is a curious and confident boy however Arthur IS NOT for a beginner. Arthur still requires his training to continue as he has very little experience under saddle and will need a kind and able person to take him further. He has amazing foundation training but this needs to continue. He can also be a little pushy at times, however that seems to be under control at the moment.

A couple of years ago Arthur seemed to have some issues with lameness in his hind feltlock (undiagnosed), however we have not witnessed this at any time since he has been with us, even under his training workload.

Arthur needs good fencing as he tends to play Houdini and will try to get out of his paddock if there is something on the other side of the fence that he believes he should be allowed to have or check out. He is great at having his feet done and probably should be on a 4 week trim cycle. He is good to float and HE will catch YOU in the paddock and he is a real smooch. We would prefer Arthur to have equine company at his new home.
